Nursery 1-2

Ages 3 · Foundation building

The Nursery 1-2 program provides developmentally-appropriate Christian education that will prepare three-year old children for the Elementary classes.

All activities are structured to develop and strengthen motor, coordination, visual, auditory, communication and social skills.

It provides a safe, nurturing environment for the children to develop intellectually, socially and spiritually.

Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten

Ages 4-5 · Academic readiness

The primary emphasis of these programs are to acquaint youngsters with basic phonics, reading, and arithmetic skills. In teaching phonics, a multisensory approach (auditory, tactile, and visual) is employed.

Bible study is also an integral part of the curriculum. In addition, art, music, science, and literature are presented in a manner suitable for assimilation by children.

Extra-Curricular Activities

The following activities are considered are extra-curricular, due to the fact that they are not assessed and not mentioned in the Report Card. For this school year, they are:

School Uniform

From October, all students at LIGHTHOUSE SCHOOL must wear the school uniform on Fridays.

White shirt, navy blue pants or skirt
(No leggings please!)

👦 For boys:

White shirt, navy blue pants
(No shorts please!)
